Lavender and vanilla sound like opposites, and in Mon Guerlain that’s exactly the point.
Guerlain uses lavender from Provence, fresh and aromatic, and Tahitian vanilla, which has floral, almond-like facets rather than plain sugar. Jasmine sambac links the two, and sandalwood adds a creamy woody texture.
So it isn’t a simple journey from citrus to sweet. It’s an aromatic flower and a soft, detailed vanilla sharing the same space all evening.
The quadrilobe bottle is a piece of house history too, based on a Guerlain design first introduced in 1908, with a four-lobed stopper and a gold detail.
The bottle size is 1.0 oz, Eau de Parfum.
