Heavy, softly draped satin. That’s the idea behind Oud Satin Mood.

Rose rests on a rich bed of vanilla and oud. A violet accord adds a powdery floral shade, and benzoin brings a sweet, resinous warmth. Together, the violet powder and vanilla soften the rose-and-oud pairing into something smooth and plush.

It’s rounder and sweeter than most oud perfumes, a good choice if dry, austere oud feels too severe.

The texture is dense, so go carefully the first time you wear it, especially in a small dining room or a theater seat. Formal dinners and special evenings are where it belongs.
