Mackie

Bob Mackie is famous for glamour, and Mackie smells the part: a big, lavish white-flower bouquet with ripe fruit on top.

Peach, pineapple and raspberry open it with sweetness. Then the flowers arrive in force: tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom, with rose, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang and narcissus around them.

The base is warm and earthy, built from sandalwood, musk, amber, patchouli and vetiver.

It’s generous and old-school in the best way. Fans of full, rich florals will feel at home. If you prefer light, clean scents, it may be too much for daily use, but it’s lovely for celebrations and evenings.
