Lattafa Eclaire Banoffi

Banoffee pie, but make it perfume. Eclaire Banoffi is the most playful of Lattafa’s Eclaire trio.

Banana cream, whipped cream and pastry cream make the opening thick and cushioned. Then banana and dulce de leche deepen it into a caramelized-milk sweetness. The fruit here is part of a pudding, not a tropical cocktail.

The base adds biscuit crumbs beside vanilla, praline and musk. That baked, crumbly touch gives the cream something to sit against, just like a pie crust under a soft filling.
