Perfumer Dora Baghriche built I Am Juicy Couture around a simple idea: fruit up front, soft flowers behind, warmth underneath.

The fruit is raspberry, pomelo and passion fruit, tangy and tropical rather than candy-sweet. Passion fruit is the one you’ll notice, with a sharp little tang that keeps the mood upbeat. After that comes a gentle bouquet of gardenia, sweet pea and rose, and heliotrope, which has a soft almond-and-powder smell that makes the petals feel almost velvety.

Musk, warm woods and amber carry it home. By evening it’s a close, cozy glow on the skin, nothing loud.

It’s cheerful and easy, a scent you can wear from a morning coffee through to dinner with friends. The faceted gold-toned bottle with its ornate cap matches that glam, fun attitude.
