This is where it all began. In 1992, Dolce & Gabbana launched its first perfume, and it’s still one of the boldest florals the house has made.
The brand calls it a composition of contrasts, and three ingredients explain why:
- Spanish rosemary, a herbal, almost culinary opening you rarely find in a women’s perfume.
- Orange blossom, warm and sunny, blooming in the heart.
- Patchouli, earthy and sensual, wrapping everything in a very early-’90s glamour.
It isn’t a simple sweet floral. It has character and presence, the kind of scent that suits evening events and dinners where you want to be remembered. The rectangular bottle with its scarlet cap and gold detailing captures the brand’s Sicilian roots.
This original Eau de Toilette comes in 3.3 oz. Its modern sister Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme is softer, and Estée Lauder’s Knowing is another grown-up floral with a mossy, classic feel. More from Dolce & Gabbana.
