Dolce & Gabbana The Only One 2

Berries, rose and a roasted coffee edge. The Only One 2 is the darker, fruitier follow-up to Dolce & Gabbana’s The Only One.

Blackberry and red berries lead, with pear adding a softer fruit. Rose, violet and freesia bring petals. Coffee adds a bitter, roasted counterpoint, so the berries and violet never become the only textures. Tonka bean, patchouli and amber-toned woods give it a warm, substantial frame.

It’s a gourmand with flowers still in the picture. Late dinners and wine bars suit it well.
