Badee Al Oud Amethyst

Part of Lattafa’s gemstone-named Badee Al Oud series, Amethyst leans into a fruity-floral take on oud, softer and more approachable than some of the brand’s heavier, more traditional oud releases.

Amethyst is Lattafa’s softer oud lesson: rose-like fruitiness around the wood, not a wall of smoke. Skin chemistry matters, because some wearers will pull more sweetness while others get a drier oud base, making it best to spray lightly first.

It works as a good middle-ground option for someone who wants a taste of oud-centered perfumery without the full intensity of a purely resinous, smoky composition.
